M5: Mini turkey meatballs and spinach salad, so yummy!!

Today I did the Cupid’s cardio on the elliptical and 1 x leg workout and 1 x total body workout

Tomorrow Ill actually wake up for the 15 min bootycall!This is what the TIU girls call a morning workout!

How is everyone else doing with the challenge? I love the fitbit and the 5k a day challenge! Its making me walk more! I do a lunchtime walk everyday now!

Sunday Night Prep and plans! Active weekend:)

Hi all!

25 days left of the challenge! After, Im going to try a different approach to the blog..more on a helping others but still sharing my life deal!

So its Sunday and I’ve been pretty active all weekend and eating well (some indulgence but not too bad). On Saturday I did Amy Dixons Tabata DVD ‘breathless body’. Wow what a workout!! Sunday I did interval training on the elliptical. My back has been sore so I did not do much weights this weekend, but nonetheless I stayed active!

On to some Sunday prep:

1) Quinoa, spinach, broccoli, chicken in a thai sauce (slow cooker)

So here is my workout plan for the week! As for the challenge I loosely follow I try to incoorporate it her and ther in my plan….:

Monday: 30 min walk pm plus Pilates
Tuesday: 40 min cardio HIIT Elliptical plus full body toning you tube video (Zuzka)
Wednesday: Jillian killer butt workout
Thursday: Surfer girl and beach booty TIU
Friday: Tabata (amy Dixon Breathless body)
In NYC sat and Sun!

Food plan for the week:

Mon: Coconut lime and chicken quinoa
Tues: Fish
Wed: Turkey little muffins (see last weeks post)
Thurs: Fajitas
Fri: on the road

I cant wait to go to NYC with my hubby this weekend:)

Friday Finally!, check in day 18 and healthy chocolate cake recipe!

Ive been MIA for check in’s and blogging! Just been so tired and busy but Im back on track now and ready for a healthy weekend!!

Weekend check in!

Hey all!

I have had a really packed weekend full of dinner, birthdays and unfortunately a funeral today. …

Makes you appreciate life every day and every special moment! I’ve been in heaven since the hubby came home. Here’s a pic of us at a wedding a few months ago:)

Okay so I won’t go over my meals this weekend. I did eat a lot of fruits and veggies, but I had too much pasta Friday and a whole bunch of chips yesterday, which I really regret!! 

Saturday I did 1.5 hours of hot yoga with the hubby and had a soccer game at night. Fitbit stats:

8816 steps taken
 12 floors climbed
 3.87 miles traveled
 2036 calories burned
 703 active score 

Today (Sunday),  I woke up and did a 30 min HIIT workout. If you follow the TIU girls Karena Dawn is one of the fitness models in the workout I did (Women’s health, look better naked dvd). So funny! She looks different…..I can’t point out what it is though…

I plan on going for a long walk with the dog today! I have to make the 2.2 miles and more from the challenge!!

As for this week my workout plan:

Mon: Jillian M. Killer abs

Tues: TIU Bikini sculpt and 30 min Cardio

Wed: HIIT and Beach Booty

THUR: A ZUZKA workout and cadrio

FRI: Active rest day

SAT: TABATA workout

All my friends and I go this great deal at a gym to try some new classes! I cant wait!!

I need to plan some dinner meals as well! I need some inspiration!! Any help!

Tone it up balls, beach booty and check in day 10 and 11 of challenge!

So here are the Tone it up balls I made for my friends b-day on Saturday (I had to taste test a few:)). The recipe is found on yesterday blog!

I did not check in my fit bit stats from day 10 so here it goes:
Steps:7605
Floors: 6
Miles:3.32
Cals burnt: 1923
ACtive score: 584

Getting closer to my goal of 8-10 thousand steps a day!! Ill make it today!!!

Okay so I will be busy tonight so here are my challenge day 11 meals in advance:
M1: TIU french toast with berries
M2: SPinach salad, veggies, chicken
M3: Cliff bar and clementines
M4:Dinner (TBD)
M5: Glass of wine

I’m going to a friends tonight to see her new apartment, so I’m putting in the wine as a meal he he. Only 1 glass though!!

As for the challenge workout I did HIIT the beach from the TIU DVD and beach booty! What a burn!!

Any other challengers out these???

Im doing the tone it up challenge and its try something new Thursday, so I tried this workout! Holycrap!! Highly recommended for those looking to have a great workout!!!Laugh at my pic, but youll look like that too! LOL

So meals check in:

M1: 2 x whole wheat Toast with natural PB
M2: Latte, Cottage cheese with crockpot apples (recipe in yesterdays post)
M3: Pasta bake from skinny Ms. (http://skinnyms.com/cheesy-pizza-pasta-bake/) I also added broccoli!
M4: Cliff bar with 10 carrots and a little fruit juice
M5: Sushi (Yummers!)

Okay so I havent made my miles yet for he challenge so I am off to do some elliptical and watch some hard of dixie!
