Sunday Night Prep and plans! Active weekend:)

Hi all!

25 days left of the challenge! After, Im going to try a different approach to the blog..more on a helping others but still sharing my life deal!

So its Sunday and I’ve been pretty active all weekend and eating well (some indulgence but not too bad). On Saturday I did Amy Dixons Tabata DVD ‘breathless body’. Wow what a workout!! Sunday I did interval training on the elliptical. My back has been sore so I did not do much weights this weekend, but nonetheless I stayed active!

On to some Sunday prep:

1) Quinoa, spinach, broccoli, chicken in a thai sauce (slow cooker)

So here is my workout plan for the week! As for the challenge I loosely follow I try to incoorporate it her and ther in my plan….:

Monday: 30 min walk pm plus Pilates
Tuesday: 40 min cardio HIIT Elliptical plus full body toning you tube video (Zuzka)
Wednesday: Jillian killer butt workout
Thursday: Surfer girl and beach booty TIU
Friday: Tabata (amy Dixon Breathless body)
In NYC sat and Sun!

Food plan for the week:

Mon: Coconut lime and chicken quinoa
Tues: Fish
Wed: Turkey little muffins (see last weeks post)
Thurs: Fajitas
Fri: on the road

I cant wait to go to NYC with my hubby this weekend:)

I’m so happy with the amount of walking I’ve done!
I did all the TOU challenges today: Toneitup.com (2 x full body workout, 2 x leg workout) plus 40 min of interval training!

Tomorrow waking up to arm workout and cardio at night!!!

M1: Clementine smoothie
M2: Cliff bar
M3: meat loaf x 2 and quinoa and veggies
M4: Greek yogurt and apple
M5: porc tenderloin and salad

Challenge check in day 14- Lean, clean and green

Okay so its Monday, okay so I did not get up for my planned workout, okay so I have work and attend  a LONG BORING class today….

I have still eaten to my plan from yesterday…YAY!!!

I have also been walking everywhere and even logged in a lunchime quickie with a co-worker (WALK that is!). I plan on watching a little Hart of dixie and doing some elliptical tonight (30 min) and 3 x sunkissed abs workout found at http://www.toneitup.com (as per the challenge).

 

Tonight they have challenged us to lay of starches and I plan on it! I have also been reading about how to eat to sleep better. Check it out: http://www.shape.com/blogs/weight-loss-diary/no-1-secret-better-sleep

Although I snack on healthy fruit at night, turns out I may need to make some adjustments! Also I have finally planned my meals for the week (Dinners which are always hard):

On another note my hubby got nominated for an award at work! YAY!

I also had a great experience (in and out in 15 min) at the college bookstore today. I got al my books and Im relieved. Now if only I was prepared for class today:( 

Okay off to class! I will check in with the fitbit stats tonight! Also with my meal planning for tomorrow! Planning is also part of the challenge! I love feeling organized!

Sunday Prep work!

Hi all!

Prepping for a busy week! I made some overnight chocolate oats (half cup oats, half cup almond milt, stevia, cocoa, flax seed and cin to taste) and a batch of Quinio, cut up peppers, feta, avocado, carrots, beans an chickpeas.

Mondays I have school and work so I’m going to sneak in a workout in the am and walk as much as I can during the day.I plan on doing JM killer abs level 2 in the am. The TIU challenged us to eat lean and green for dinner so here is my meal plan for tomorrow:

M1: Overnight oats w banana
M2: greek yogurt with apple
M3: SPinach with tune
M4: Cliff bar with 2 clementines
M5: Quinoa with veggies

Feels good to plan it out!

Tone it up balls, beach booty and check in day 10 and 11 of challenge!

So here are the Tone it up balls I made for my friends b-day on Saturday (I had to taste test a few:)). The recipe is found on yesterday blog!

I did not check in my fit bit stats from day 10 so here it goes:

Cals burnt: 1923
ACtive score: 584

Getting closer to my goal of 8-10 thousand steps a day!! Ill make it today!!!

Okay so I will be busy tonight so here are my challenge day 11 meals in advance:
M1: TIU french toast with berries
M2: SPinach salad, veggies, chicken
M3: Cliff bar and clementines
M4:Dinner (TBD)
M5: Glass of wine

I’m going to a friends tonight to see her new apartment, so I’m putting in the wine as a meal he he. Only 1 glass though!!

As for the challenge workout I did HIIT the beach from the TIU DVD and beach booty! What a burn!!

Check in Day 9- I need to walk more!

Hey all!

Did a great grocery overhaul today! I LOVE costco! I got a lot of staples! I cant wait to make tone it up peanut butter balls for my friends b-day this weekend:) (recipe here: http://toneitup.com/blog.php?Have-A-Ball-trade-with-Tone-It-Up-Peanut-Butter-Balls-5501)

I did a 40 minute cardio circuit today (with weights) , was great!

I really need to work on walking more, I want to make between 8000-10000 a day! I only make that once or twice a week!

Good morning or afternoon! I am a little bored…

So, if you read yesterdays post I was totally craving something naughty to eat……….popso I did have some tea and some popcorn (popped in my machine) with no butter (just a little parm). Totally hit the spot:) I really recommend this as a snack. You really get used to the no butter/salt and you actually start liking the taste!

So Im feeling pretty bored now with all this time off. As most of my friends are busy today and the hubby is still away this is my plan:

1. Make some cocoa dusted almonds (from the Tone it up recipe section if you are part of the community). I will make these for my road trip tomorrow. I am a bridesmaid for an upcoming wedding and we are going to another city to go dress shopping!!

2. I will finalize my school application

3. Respond to all e-mails

4. Clean sheets and do some chores

5. Work out: So I plan on doing 40 min of elliptical (we need to do 40 min of cardio for the TIU challenge and one of their workouts found here: http://toneitup.com/blog.php?Love-Your-Body-FRI-SUN-5660), I will also complete a 15 min beach booty workout from the TIU beach babe dvd. My bum is one area I ALWAYS have to work on.

6. Watch tv LOL Im trying to dl the firt season of GRIMM which was recommended to me

7. Put away the xmas decorations:( BOOOOO

Im glad the weekend is packed as I am feeling a little confined to my home.

SO far for eats I have had an English muffin for breaky (no pics) and one protein cookie and an apple as a snack. I will check in fully with my stats at the end of the day!
